Route

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival · Cala Ratjada

    Fly to Palma de Mallorca, coach transfer to the north-east coast (about 1 hour). Beachside check-in, welcome dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Opening sessions

    Morning football session at the training complex. Afternoon netball court session. Evening at leisure.

  3. Day 3

    Fixture day 1

    Football fixture v Balearic academy XI (18:00 kick-off). Netball fixture v Palma club (17:00).

  4. Day 4

    Palma cultural day

    Coach to Palma (about 1 hour). Cathedral, old town walk, tapas lunch. Return late afternoon.

  5. Day 5

    Fixture day 2

    Football fixture v Mallorca U18 select (18:00). Netball fixture v Balearic regional side (17:00). Farewell dinner with squad awards.

  6. Day 6

    Sea day · Departure

    Morning sea kayak or catamaran off Cala Ratjada. Late transfer to Palma airport, timed to the group's flight.

  7. Included

    Airport to airport

    5 nights half-board, private coach throughout, all pitch and court hire, referees and Spanish opposition liaison, English-speaking guide, first-aid staff on every session, full risk assessment for school approval.

The historic 2018 Commonwealth Games gold on the Gold Coast — won in the final second against Australia — was the country's first major netball title and changed the sport at home. Since then the Roses have reached World Cup finals, won Commonwealth bronze and regularly challenged the sport's traditional southern-hemisphere giants, while producing players who have starred in England's Netball Super League and Australia's Suncorp Super Netball. Our netball tours are led by players from this elite England lineage.
