England national netball team lined up together before a match

Netball · England · Roster of stars

England Netball Roster

  • 2018 Commonwealth gold
  • World Cup finalists
  • Netball Super League

England's Vitality Roses have become one of netball's superpowers. The historic 2018 Commonwealth Games gold on the Gold Coast — won in the final second against Australia — was the country's first major netball title and changed the sport at home. Since then the Roses have reached World Cup finals, won Commonwealth bronze and regularly challenged the sport's traditional southern-hemisphere giants, while producing players who have starred in England's Netball Super League and Australia's Suncorp Super Netball. Our netball tours are led by players from this elite England lineage.

A 15-day pre- or off-season tour for UK college and academy squads (players 16 to 19), led by former West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Matt Jarvis. Structured training blocks, up to four fixtures against Thai academy and school opposition, and the cultural programme our Thai partner Beyond Adventure runs for UK colleges every year. Thailand's dry season (November to February) delivers reliable weather, grass pitches in daily use, and costs below European destinations. Hua Hin already hosts professional squads for pre-season at Arena Hua Hin — four FIFA-size Paspalum pitches.

Every session is planned around the heat: training 07:00–09:00 and 16:30–18:30, fixtures kicking off at 17:00 or later, hydration scheduled every 20 minutes. Standard student safeguarding throughout — agreed staff ratios, single-sex rooming by year group, a named duty manager on 24/7 call, and a full risk assessment pack formatted for college and local-authority approval.
